Near the village of Sanwarda, on the Jaipur-Ajmer Highway, a terrifying inferno occurred on a Tuesday night when an LPG truck turned into a fireball following a collision. For about three hours, the series of explosions continued, setting off one cylinder after another until 200 cylinders had burned and exploded, leaving the truck entirely melted and reduced to scrap. CCTV footage reveals the truck engulfed in flames within seconds.

In fact, the truck carrying LPG cylinders attempted to turn at an illegal roadside cut, when a speeding tanker approached from behind, hitting it hard. This led to the truck immediately catching fire, and the cylinders started to explode.

The blasts of nearly 200 cylinders echoed up to 10 kilometers away in the stillness of the night. Panic enveloped the nearby hotels, leading to a traffic jam extending 7 kilometers on both sides of the road.

Out of the 330 cylinders on the ill-fated truck, about 200 exploded. This scene is reminiscent of a tragic fire in Bhankrota exactly 10 months ago that claimed 20 lives.
