Prime Minister Netanyahu visited an IDF base on the northern border on Sunday, where he conducted a security assessment with Major-General, the head of the northern command. Netanyahu was briefed on troop deployments in Lebanon, operational achievements so far, and future objectives.

During his address, Netanyahu stated, 'Here I am with IDF soldiers on the northern border. Just meters away, on the border, your fellow soldiers are dismantling terrorist structures that Hezbollah established to use against us. You all deserve praise. You are doing remarkable work with your fellow soldiers; you are all lions.'
He added, 'A year ago, we were hit by a dreadful blow. In the 12 months since, we have transformed realities worldwide. The blows you are dealing our enemies astonish the entire world. I salute you and declare – you are the Generation of Victory.'
