Israel gearing up for prolonged conflict with Iran... Attacks with 60 fighter jets, bombs rain over Tehran

The ongoing tension between Israel and Iran has escalated significantly. The Israeli military is gearing up for a prolonged war, while Iran has warned that U.S. military involvement would be extremely dangerous for everyone.

The Israeli military announced that it is preparing for a potential extended conflict with Iran. Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has issued a warning that any U.S. involvement in this conflict would be "very dangerous for everyone."

Iranian-backed Houthi rebels have also threatened to resume attacks on American ships and warships in the Red Sea if the Trump administration becomes involved in Israeli military operations. These attacks had been paused following an agreement with the U.S. in May. Meanwhile, America has commenced "assistance flights" to evacuate Israeli citizens, marking the first instances since the Hamas attacks on October 7, 2023.

Israel launches an overwhelming aerial assault using 30 fighter jets deploying over 50 bombs.

Air Assault with 60 Fighter Jets, F-14 Downed

The IDF reported that, based on precise intelligence, around 60 fighter jets were used to strike deep within Iranian territory. An Israeli Air Force plane engaged three Iranian military F-14 fighter jets. This operation targeted the central region of Iran.

The Israeli military disclosed that they attacked a nuclear research facility located in Iran’s Isfahan province, resulting in the death of three senior Iranian commanders. Israel stated that this mission aimed to dismantle Iran's nuclear capabilities.

Post-attack, plumes of smoke were seen rising from a mountainous area in Isfahan, confirmed as a centrifuge production site by the province’s Deputy Governor for Security Affairs, Akbar Salehi. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) also verified this strike.

Over 1100 have returned home to India so far.

Israel Destroys 50% of Iran's Launchers

In retaliation, Iran launched new drone and missile attacks, though significant damage was not reported. An Israeli military spokesperson revealed that more than 50% of Iran's launchers have been neutralized. The Israeli military's chief spokesperson, Brigadier General Efi Defrin, mentioned that Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir, has instructed the military to prepare for a "long-term campaign."

U.S. President Donald Trump is contemplating military involvement in this conflict, setting a two-week timeline to make a decision. Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi indicated during an Organization of Islamic Cooperation meeting in Turkey that any dialogue with the U.S. is not feasible amidst Israeli attacks.
