The capture of Gaza by Israel is now seen as almost certain. Israeli forces continue to advance in the war against Hamas. Meanwhile, even after eliminating a major Hamas commander, Nasser Musa, in southern Gaza, the IDF continues its assaults. The latest attack targeted a school where displaced families had sought refuge, resulting in 37 casualties, including many women and children.

Gaza's streets are filled with debris and devastation. Israeli fighter jets took down the Rafah Brigade's key terror figure, Nasser Musa, in an airstrike. Musa was training Hamas militants and was the mastermind behind several attacks in Israel. Besides, the Israeli Army also targeted a building in Khan Yunis, which Hamas was using to store rockets.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has granted full freedom to his army to capture the Gaza Strip. He stated that the war would end soon and hostages would be freed at all costs. However, many nations view this action as a sign of Gaza's potential demise. Meanwhile, several countries have recognized the Palestinian state against Israel's actions.

Terror of Death

The situation in Gaza is currently extremely dire. In the past two years, 61,827 Palestinians have been killed. Additionally, 155,275 people have been seriously injured. Just in the past 24 hours, 51 lives have been lost, and 369 people have been wounded. The school, where displaced families had taken shelter, was the biggest target of the Israeli attack. After the bombing, the bodies of women and children lay scattered across the premises.

Demands for Hostage Liberation

The demand to liberate hostages is gaining momentum in Israel. Thousands of people took to the streets of Tel Aviv with posters and banners, urging the government to ensure the safe return of their loved ones. The sister of a kidnapped Nepalese citizen said, "Nearly two years have passed, but no information has been received. Surviving continuously hungry and injured is impossible. How can one live in hell for 680 days?"

Rage of the Protesters

A hostage's father said, "This is not a holiday for people to come out shopping. This is a day of protest. It's not just a way to stand with the families of the hostages but also a civic duty to save Israel's moral character." Protesters laid serious accusations against Prime Minister Netanyahu, claiming he is risking the hostages' lives for political gain.

Opposition to Netanyahu

One protester stated, "I come here every Saturday. First, we stand with the families whose loved ones have been held hostage for nearly two years. Second, we stand against our government. We find this government extremely terrible. We want it to go so we can rebuild a strong Israel." Amidst the ongoing war in Gaza, these protests in Israel continue unabated.

Call for Ceasefire in Gaza

In 2023, Hamas attacked Israel, killing 1,200 people. Not only this, over 250 people were taken hostage. More than half of the hostages have been released so far. Many have died, but about 20 hostages are still believed to be alive, which is why the protester’s anger continues to rise, and calls for a ceasefire are growing louder.
