Relations between Israel and Iran teeter on the edge of hostility. Following last week's attack on the Iranian consulate in Syria, the strain has amplified. Amidst this tension, Iran has issued a stark warning that Israeli embassies are now vulnerable.

General Rahim Safavi, military advisor to Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, stated, 'No Israeli embassy guarantees safety anymore.'

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has asserted Israel's readiness to confront any situation. 'Anyone who harms us, or plans to, will be met with force,' he declared firmly.

Iran has expressed outrage over the consulate attack in Damascus which resulted in the loss of two Iranian generals. Israel has been accused by Iran of orchestrating the attack.

According to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), this assault claimed the life of General Mohammad Reza Zahedi, a key figure in the IRGC's 'Quds Force'. Zahedi had led the Quds Force in Lebanon and Syria until 2016. General Mohammad Hadi Zajariyaimi and five other officers also perished in the attack.

In retaliation, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei promised a response so powerful that the assailants would regret their actions.

Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian denounced the strike as a violation of international agreements and diplomatic norms. He commented on the failed attempts in Gaza leaving Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu 'psychologically unstable'. President Ibrahim Raisi also insisted that Iran will not remain silent.

While Israel has not officially responded to the attack, the incident has heightened the prospect of conflict between Iran and Israel.

According to news agencies, anticipating potential retaliation from Iran, Israel has canceled all military leave. Additionally, Israel has reportedly disrupted GPS signals in strategic areas to hinder missile and drone accuracy.
