The Crime Branch in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, has made a significant bust by arresting three gangsters associated with the notorious Jaggu Bhagwanpuria and Lawrence Bishnoi gangs. The gangsters reached Indore to procure arms amidst the ongoing gang wars in Punjab. The arrest of Raseem Arora, Shivam, and Puneet has been carried out by the Crime Branch team.
The apprehended criminals were found with two indigenous pistols, two country-made revolvers, and live cartridges. The Indore Crime Branch team has been consistently effective against those involved in the illegal arms trade. Following a tip from an informant, the team learned that suspects wanted for attempted murder from Amritsar district of Punjab had been spotted at a hotel in the Chhotti Gwaltoli area.
The Crime Branch, acting on the information, captured Raseem alias Rishu, Puneet, and Babloo alias Shivam and seized two indigenous pistols, two country-made guns, and three rounds of live ammunition from their possession. According to the police, these suspects had come to Indore to purchase weapons due to an ongoing gang war.
They are in a dispute with the Simran gang and are known members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. They are charged with multiple crimes including murder and assault, with their records currently being examined. Their associates had been arrested previously, and interrogation of the recently apprehended suspects is underway. The Crime Branch anticipates further revelations from the ongoing investigation.
