In response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian Army conducted airstrikes on nine terrorist sites located in Pakistan on Tuesday. Immediately after this airstrike, India's National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval communicated with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio to inform him about the actions taken. Additionally, India has been in dialogue with Britain, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Russia regarding this airstrike.
The Indian embassy's press release stated, 'India's actions were precise. These steps were taken in a measured, responsible, and non-provocative manner. No Pakistani civilian, economic, or military targets were targeted. Only identified terrorist camps were attacked.'

The release explained that immediately following the strikes, NSA Doval had discussions with the US National Security Advisor and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, providing them detailed information about the campaign. It further mentioned that 'India has concrete evidence that Pakistan was involved in the Pahalgam attack.'

The operation involved targeted strikes by the Indian Air Force on nine terrorist hubs located in Pakistan and PoK. The action transpired around 1:30 AM and targeted locations in Bahawalpur, Kotli, and Muzaffarabad. On April 22nd, terrorists targeted the Baisaran Valley in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, resulting in the death of 26 tourists in terrorist gunfire. Following this attack, India warned of inevitable consequences.
