Pakistan’s Innings Recap
The Pakistani team struggled from the start of the chase. Sameer Minhaj was dismissed for just 9 runs by quick bowler Dipesh Devendran, leaving the team at 21 runs. Ali Hasan Baloch also fell to Dipesh without scoring, and Ahmed Hussain was dismissed for 4, reducing Pakistan to 30/3. Kanishk Chauhan followed by dismissing opener Usman Khan, who scored 16 runs, giving India a fourth success.
Pakistani captain Farhan Yousuf tried to stabilize the team, adding 47 runs with Huzaifa Ahsan for the fifth wicket. Vaibhav Suryavanshi broke this partnership, dismissing Farhan who had made 23 runs. India’s sixth success came from Khilan Patel, who dismissed Hamza Zahoor for just 4 runs.
Kanishk Chauhan struck again, removing Abdul Subhan for 6 and then Huzaifa Ahsan. Huzaifa, however, showcased resilience, scoring 70 runs off 83 balls, with 9 fours and 2 sixes, before being caught out.
Team India’s Innings: Aaron George Scores 85 Runs
Earlier, having lost the toss, India batted first and scored 240 runs in 46.1 overs. The Indian innings began on a shaky note, losing the first wicket at 29 runs. Vaibhav Suryavanshi managed only 5 runs before being caught and bowled by Mohammad Saiyyam. Aayush Mhatre and Aaron George then built a 49-run partnership for the second wicket. Aayush scored 38 off 25 balls, hitting 4 fours and 3 sixes before falling to Saiyyam. Vihan Malhotra (12) and Vedant Trivedi (7) did not capitalize on their starts, and when Vedant was dismissed, India stood at 113/4.
Subsequently, Aaron George and Abhigyan Kundu joined forces to recover the innings, adding 60 runs for the fifth wicket. During this partnership, George completed his half-century off 57 balls with 8 fours. Both were later dismissed in the same over by Abdul Subhan. George eventually scored 85 runs off 88 balls, with 12 fours and a six, while Kundu contributed 22 runs.

Following the downfall of Abhigyan Kundu, Kanishk Chauhan came in to play an explosive innings, contributing significantly to the team’s total. Chauhan smashed 46 runs with 3 fours and 2 sixes. Khilan Patel (6), Henil Patel (12), and Dipesh Devendran (1) did not make notable contributions. For Pakistan, Mohammad Saiyyam was the standout bowler, claiming 3 wickets.
