India Takes Major Action: Suspends X Accounts of Imran Khan, Bilawal Bhutto

Following the suspension of accounts of Pakistan's PM Shehbaz Sharif and several ministers, ex-Pakistan PM Imran Khan and Bilawal Bhutto's X accounts have been suspended. Previously, accounts of Pakistani media outlets and cricketers were restricted in India.

In the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack, India has intensified its actions against Pakistan. Recently, the X handles of Pakistan's former Prime Minister Imran Khan and former Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto were suspended. Prior to this, the accounts of several Pakistani ministers, cricketers, media outlets, and YouTube accounts in India had faced suspension.

It is reported that before suspending Imran Khan and Bilawal Bhutto's X handles, India had already suspended the X accounts of Pakistan's PM Shehbaz Sharif, Minister Ishaq Dar, Khawaja Asif, and several other Pakistani ministers.

Prior suspension of Shehbaz Sharif and several ministers' X accounts, followed by the suspension of Imran Khan and Bilawal Bhutto. Previously, Pakistani media outlets and cricketers' accounts were restricted in India.

In addition to ministers, the Indian government has blocked several actors' YouTube channels and social media accounts in India. Blocked Instagram accounts include notable names like Hania Amir, Mahira Khan, Ali Zafar, Sanam Saeed, and Sajal Ali.

The Pahalgam terrorist attack resulted in continued venomous rhetoric from Pakistani YouTubers and social media influencers against India. As a response, the Indian government took action by restricting such YouTube channels and influencers. Before this, India had restricted some Pakistani news outlets, including Dawn, Samaa TV, ARY News, Geo News, Razi Nama, and Suno News YouTube channels.

On April 22, terrorists targeted tourists in the Basran Valley of Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, resulting in the deaths of 26 people, mostly tourists. The banned Pakistani terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) affiliate 'The Resistance Force' (TRF) claimed responsibility for the attack. In response, India has taken several stringent measures against Pakistan, including canceling the Indus Waters Treaty.
