The Telangana Police's Women's Safety Wing detained 285 individuals within a week for misbehaving with devotees during the Khairatabad Ganesh Festival in Hyderabad. According to officials, these individuals, apprehended by SHE teams, were engaging in inappropriate behavior in public spaces, particularly targeting women. This incident took place during the popular Ganesh Festival held in the old city of Hyderabad.

Authorities declared that these offenders would be brought before a magistrate for further legal proceedings. Emphasizing that this kind of misconduct will not be tolerated, they urged the public to report any harassment or misconduct incidents immediately. The Hyderabad Police appealed to citizens to raise their voices against inappropriate behavior and report it without delay.
