A video of a student being brutally beaten by several people for the recovery of their money circulated widely on social media, showing them mercilessly beating the student. After they were not satisfied, they forcibly tied a brick to the minor's private parts and recorded it.

After the arrest of the culprits, the victim student has told a story of cruelty which will send shivers down your spine. The victim informed the Kakadev police station in Kanpur about the six days which were nothing less than hell for him, fearing he would not survive. The young man had come to Kanpur to prepare for the Air Force recruitment and was living in a rented room.

The minor victim revealed that for the recovery of money, the culprits would beat him until he lost consciousness, and when he would faint, they would wake him with water and continue the assault with kicks and punches, explaining the reason behind it.
The culprits demanded 50,000 rupees instead of 20,000: Victim
The minor victim said that the boys coaxed him on April 20 into playing an online game and gave him 20,000 rupees for it. After winning in the game, he reinvested the money into the game but lost a significant amount. Subsequently, the culprits started demanding money and insisted he pay 50,000 rupees no matter what. After expressing his inability to pay, the culprits confined the minor in a room from April 21 to April 26 and beat him like an animal. One of the money lenders, Tanmay, had intimidated him with the knowledge of inflicting third-degree torture.

The culprits also committed indecent acts: Victim
The victim revealed that thereafter the culprits began beating him severely and with straps. When their heart did not melt from that, they tied a brick to his private parts and filmed it. He claimed that a total of 31 videos were made in pieces. The minor student claimed that four culprits had also committed indecent acts, but the police didn't apply this charge.

Case Registered Against 11 Culprits
The police have registered a case against a total of 11 culprits, following which six have been arrested. DCP Central of Kanpur, RS Gautam informed that several police teams have been formed to arrest the remaining culprits.
