HTC has officially launched its AI smart glasses, the HTC Vive Eagle, marking the company's entry into the display-less smart glasses sector. Featured in this device is a built-in AI assistant compatible with Google Gemini or OpenAI's ChatGPT.

The ChatGPT variant is currently available in its beta version. HTC, renowned for its exceptional smartphones with unique designs and robust specifications, gradually fell behind due to intense competition from Chinese brands.

Now, HTC has entered a less crowded category where smart glasses are seen as the future replacement for smartphones. Imagine a scenario where calling and other functionalities could be embedded entirely within smart glasses, eliminating the need for a phone.

Having launched its inaugural pair, HTC's smart glasses are poised to compete directly with Meta RayBan AI Glasses. Soon, companies like Samsung and others are expected to join this segment. Xiaomi has already debuted its smart glasses in the Chinese market. As for the HTC Vive Eagle, it is priced at 15,600 New Taiwan Dollars (approximately 45,500 INR).
