A shocking daylight murder case has emerged from Hisar district in Haryana. In the town of Hansi, motorcycle showroom owner and JJP leader Ravindra Saini was gunned down by unknown attackers on motorcycles, numbering three to four. Saini was rushed to the local hospital in Hansi, where doctors declared him dead. Upon receiving the news, Hansi's SP Maqsood Ahmed, DSP Dheeraj Kumar, and City Police Station Officer Jagjit Singh arrived at the scene with their team. Accompanying them were fingerprint experts and a forensic team. Saini was shot five times by the attackers.

At around 6 PM, Ravindra Saini had stepped out of his showroom while talking on his phone. The bike-borne assailants, lying in wait, opened fire as soon as Saini exited. Saini, who had been under police protection since the violent caste-based protests for reservation, left his gunman behind in the showroom when he stepped out, and was thus vulnerable. The attackers fled after the shooting. Currently, the police are attempting to identify the culprits with the help of CCTV footage.

The Police Identify Prime Suspect

According to information, the police have identified a person named Vicky Nehra as the prime suspect. Sources indicate that Vicky was convicted in a 2017 case in which Ravindra Saini was a key witness, and there are suspicions regarding his involvement in the murder. It is said that Vicky visited for some repair work, but got into a severe altercation, raising suspicions that he might have sent these people to eliminate Saini. The 40-year-old Saini was also serving as the Vice President of the JJP’s Backward Section in Hisar.

Social Activists Express Outrage

Once news of the incident reached them, an influx of Hansi's social activists rushed to the hospital. Ravindra Saini was not only a political figure but also socially active. Bajrang Garg, the Provincial President of Haryana's Commerce Board and the National General Secretary of the All India Commerce Board, expressed deep concern and sorrow over the incident. He stated that the government should take stringent action against the criminals, emphasizing the outrage among traders and the general public over Saini's murder by criminals. There is a prevailing sense of lawlessness in Haryana, with no semblance of law and order. Traders, industrialists, and even ordinary citizens, including police officers, are not safe. Criminals are openly demanding ransom and monthly payments from merchants by firing at shops in broad daylight.

Couple Was Killed Last Month

It should be noted that just last month, a couple who had a love marriage were shot dead in Hansi. The bodies were found in Hansi's Lala Hukam Chand Jain Park. The couple was sitting in the park when, at around 9:30 PM, two criminals on a bike fired seven rounds. The couple died on the spot. The assassins fled after carrying out the murder. Hearing the gunshots, nearby residents gathered at the scene. The deceased were identified as Tejveer from Barala village in Narnaund and Meena from Sultanpur village in Hansi.
