A harrowing incident has emerged from Hamirpur district in Uttar Pradesh, with a love marriage ending in tragedy after three years. In the Maudaha thana region, an addict husband mercilessly beat his 27-year-old wife, Roshni, to death with an iron rod. After the murder, he locked their one-and-a-half-year-old child in the room with her body and fled.
This horror unfolded in Kamaria village in the Maudaha thana area of Hamirpur district. Moeenuddin murdered his 27-year-old wife, Roshni. On Saturday night, a heated argument erupted between them. In a fit of rage, influenced by his addiction, the husband attacked her with an iron rod, battering her to death, and left their young child locked inside as he escaped.
Early Sunday morning, around seven o'clock, neighbors heard the child's cries from inside the room. Breaking the door open, they were shocked at the scene they encountered and promptly alerted the police. The innocent child was found weeping beside his mother's bloodied body, sending waves of shock and horror throughout the village.
Brutal Murder with an Iron Rod
According to reports, a late-night dispute between Moeenuddin and Roshni spiraled out of control. The confrontation led Moeenuddin to assault his wife with an iron rod while she lay in the bedroom, resulting in her brutal murder. After killing her, the accused absconded, leaving their three-year-old child locked in the room.
Police Rescue Child After Breaking Lock
Upon receiving the alert, the police arrived at the scene, broke the lock, rescued the child, and took Roshni’s body for a postmortem examination. The Superintendent of Police (SP) in Hamirpur shared that they have started a manhunt for the fugitive husband. Local residents are in shock at the horrific conclusion of a love marriage that began three years ago with such promise.
