A town completely desolate, with not a soul in sight. This man spent an entire seven days there and returned to tell the tale. He was dropped into the heart of the city by helicopter. The video he shared has garnered over 87 million views and features the famous YouTuber MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson. He took on this challenge as a mission, which he acknowledges as one of his most difficult. The challenge was shot in the Croatian coastal town of Kupari, near Dubrovnik.
The town boasts seven dilapidated hotels, the oldest of which was built in 1920. Since the Croatian War of Independence in 1991, the town has been left abandoned. Jimmy and his friends set up camp in a desolate building, with provisions for water, food, and sleeping bags. On the first day, they established their base. However, they faced the cold at night, waking up to the sound of breaking glass.
As challenges mounted, two team members decided to leave. Jimmy and Mark Rober, along with some of the camera crew, stayed to complete the challenge. The YouTuber said that loneliness was the biggest challenge. This wasn’t MrBeast’s first daring challenge; in November, he spent seven days in a coffin underground, undertaking a shocking stunt that mentally taxed him greatly. He advised his followers to not repeat this challenge at home.
