The Gaza Strip, nestled on the border between Israel and Egypt, is wailing in agony. Over the past few months, images from Gaza have been heart-wrenching. They’re not just pictures but some of the most harrowing representations of human tragedy. Starving children, lives slowly vanishing, seek justice. Satellite images starkly reveal this anguish and pain.

Released by the American geospatial company Planet Labs, these satellite images show crowds clamoring for basic needs like flour and rice. The first image is 200 meters from the Morag Corridor, which separates Khan Yunis and Rafah. The scenes show a massive assembly around trucks distributing relief materials, resembling a swarm of ants. Amidst the chaos, people surge forward for food.

Charity Doctors Without Borders has warned that 25% of children and pregnant women in Gaza are malnourished. Israel is being accused of deliberately using starvation as a weapon and deaths at food distribution sites have drawn criticism.

A UNICEF official revealed that due to hunger, children are forced to scavenge for food amid heaps of garbage. A woman in Gaza shared how children are dying, turning into skeletal forms, their bones counted easily. They have forgotten the taste of eggs, meat, and flowers. There is no employment, leaving them with nothing to live for; life there is almost over.

A woman named Amal Abu Assi recounted their long journeys for food, only to return disappointed and beaten.

The tragedy and atrocities in Gaza have been blamed on Israel. The entry of vehicles carrying relief materials has been blocked for months. Therefore, many countries have resorted to dropping food supplies from airplanes, which clearly is not enough.

A resident of Gaza narrated an incident where a relief supply bag fell onto a house from a plane, sparking chaos as people attacked the house. This method is not right.

In recent weeks, large numbers of deaths have occurred at distribution sites run by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation. People were fighting over food. According to Gaza's Ministry of Health, 600 Palestinian civilians have died fighting for food so far.
