The Israeli military is currently engaged in fierce battles on multiple fronts. Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah in Lebanon, and Houthi rebels in Yemen are all facing the wrath of the IDF. Everywhere, the IDF is on the offensive. Following a massive airstrike in Yemen on Saturday, Israel once again unleashed devastation in Gaza. Reports suggest that in the last 24 hours, 64 people have been killed from airstrikes, with 105 others severely injured.
Gaza's health ministry reports that the Israeli military has intensified its attacks over the past 24 hours. Chaos is everywhere, with many victims buried alive under rubble. Bodies lay on the streets, but due to the intense airstrikes, civilian rescue teams are struggling to reach them. Israel claims that Hamas fighters are using residential areas for cover while launching their attacks.
The IDF stated based on intelligence gathered from a search at the UNRWA headquarters, a large cache of weapons, ammunition, equipment belonging to Hamas' naval commandos, military vests, rifles, and intelligence material were discovered. Over the past week, more than 150 terrorists have been neutralized, and nearly 100 terrorist infrastructures have been destroyed.
Meanwhile, Israel launched a significant attack in Yemen for the first time. In response to a drone strike on Tel Aviv on Friday, the Israeli military targeted Houthi rebel strongholds on Saturday, hitting the Hudaydah Port and power station, igniting a large fire at the port. Subsequently, the Houthi rebels also launched missiles at Israel, but the IDF intercepted and destroyed them mid-air.
This strike by the Israeli Defense Forces resulted in the deaths of three individuals and injuries to 87 others. Following the attack, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that anyone who attempts to harm Israel will face consequences similar to those faced by Gaza and Lebanon. Netanyahu stated, "Since the beginning of the war, I made it clear that we will not spare anyone who harms us, no matter the cost."

Meanwhile, the heavy protests for the release of Israeli hostages from Hamas captivity are still ongoing. Thousands of people once again took to the streets of Tel Aviv on Saturday, demanding the Israeli government negotiate with Hamas for the release of hostages. There is a growing fear among the public that if the war in Gaza drags on, more hostages may be killed.
Some protesters accused their own government of committing genocide against Palestinians and compared the Israeli military actions in Gaza to the Holocaust. Long-time protesters in Tel Aviv have been calling for the resignation of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government every Saturday. They argue that the Netanyahu government has failed.
Protesters claim that Prime Minister Netanyahu and his government are completely incapable of rescuing the hostages and running the country effectively. They demand an immediate resignation from Netanyahu and the calling of general elections. On October 7 last year, Hamas attacked Israel and took over 250 people hostage; about half of those hostages have since been released by Hamas, but 116 Israeli hostages remain.
