Joining Kala Jathedi was fate...

Following Anandpal, Anuradha joining hands with Kala Jathedi a second time felt like destiny. Having been implicated in a completely falsified case, which involved a police officer from Rajasthan, it seemed like an indication from above.

Their meetings led to sharing both past and future aspirations about moving away from their tarnished lives. The mix of these desires consequently translated into the decision to get married and advance together in life.

Struggle is inevitable to re-enter mainstream society

Ever since being caught, the thought persisted that re-entering mainstream society would require substantial struggle. Sandeep’s struggles are within the walls of the prison, whereas Anuradha’s are much greater outside due to societal questions and family disbelief. To tackle these, understanding and adhering to societal guidelines became imperative.

This marriage was predestined. They both had their ceremonies before, but now they are to take sacred vows according to law, followed by a house entry ritual. After 16 years, Sandeep will return home, even if temporarily, and Anuradha feels it is God's blessing or sign for them to leave the past behind and make a fresh return to society.
