At the Army War College in Dr. Ambedkar Nagar, Madhya Pradesh, the first tri-service seminar 'Ran Samvad' took place, where Chief of Defense Staff (CDS), General Anil Chauhan emphasized the necessity of unity, self-reliance, and technical integration for future war victories. Citing Kautilya, General Chauhan stated India has been a source of knowledge since ancient times, yet there's a dearth of research on Indian wars and strategies. He called for in-depth analysis on topics like warfare, leadership, motivation, morale, and technology. All stakeholders must collaborate to prepare future forces to empower, secure, and self-rely India.

The CDS highlighted that Ran Samvad aims to include young and mid-level officers in strategic discussions, who are informed about technological advancements. This dialogue nurtures harmony between new and seasoned ideas, promoting a fusion of fresh insights and expertise.
