Thousands of officers are striving to control the protesters, but the situation remains challenging.

Demonstrators are active across France, bringing traffic to a halt by setting dumpsters ablaze and engaging in skirmishes with the police. The movement aims to disrupt all activities.

Authorities have deployed security forces nationwide to swiftly remove blockades, reporting numerous arrests of demonstrators.

According to the AP news agency, France's Interior Minister has announced approximately 200 arrests in the initial phase of the nationwide protests.
