A shocking incident has come to light in Gurugram, where an individual was lured to a hotel under the pretense of a foreign currency exchange transaction, only to be robbed of ₹2,348,000, a mobile phone, and a motorbike. The Gurugram Police Crime Unit from Sector-31 swiftly apprehended the four cunning perpetrators behind this crime.
All accused have been revealed to possess criminal backgrounds. The police are gearing up to request custody for further investigation.
Two people emerged from the bathroom with weapons and threatened the pair, seizing cash, mobile phones, and a bike. The victims were tied up, taped on the mouth, and locked in the room. Somehow, they managed to escape and informed the police.
All Four Suspects Nabbed, Known for Criminal Activities
The investigation was assigned to Crime Unit Sector-31, which, using technology and confidential information, managed to capture all four suspects. The arrested individuals are Mohammad Taleem alias Tanveer (from Shamli, UP), Pammi alias Pomi, Rohit alias Nona, and Naveen (all three from Jind, Haryana). Mohammad Taleem was arrested in Gurugram, while the other three were captured in Jind.
During police interrogation, it was revealed that all the accused knew each other beforehand, and they planned this heist with the help of an overseas accomplice. The police intend to question the suspects further regarding the stolen loot, weapons, and potential other associates involved.
More Revelations Anticipated During Police Custody
The police team is poised to present the suspects in court to seek custody for interrogation. During the remand, they aim to investigate whether this gang has been involved in similar crimes previously. Authorities assert that they will soon identify and take action against other members linked to this gang.
