After the Pahalgam terrorist attack, Pakistan is losing sleep over tough measures taken by India. As a result, panic-stricken decisions are being made at midnight. Amidst this, Pakistan's President Asif Ali Zardari made a significant decision on Saturday night to summon an emergency parliamentary session, convened for Monday at 5 PM.

Pakistan Parliament Session Called

According to the official statement from the Pakistani government, 'Exercising the powers under Article 54, Section (1) of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the President has summoned the National Assembly session for Monday, May 5, 2025, at 5 PM.' Pakistan intends to mislead its citizens through this emergency session, fueling hostility against India.

This isn't the first time post-Pahalgam attack midnight decisions are manifesting in Pakistan. Previously, panicked by India's military readiness, Pakistan swiftly assigned ISI Chief Lieutenant General Mohammad Asim Malik as the additional National Security Advisor (NSA) overnight. The formal order for this appointment was issued at night too. Asim Malik assumed the ISI leadership just last September.

Midnight Fear of Attack

Earlier, Pakistani Information Minister Atta Ullah Tarar held a press conference at 2 AM, claiming that reliable intelligence suggested India might launch a military strike in the next 24 to 36 hours. However, this April 30 conference turned out to be unfounded, yet it unmistakably revealed Pakistan's fear.

Similarly, due to India's decisive actions, Pakistan has been violating the LoC ceasefire nightly. On Sunday, for the tenth consecutive day, shooting occurred from Pakistan’s side in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara, Baramulla, Rajouri, Sunderbani, and Akhnoor sectors, to which the Indian Army gave a firm response. It's also reported that BSF captured a Pakistani ranger at the Rajasthan border.

Asim Munir Hidden in Fear!

The climate of fear in Pakistan has sparked rumors of several leaders fleeing abroad. Sources also suggest Army Chief Asim Munir is hiding in a bunker at a secret location due to his alleged role in the Pahalgam attack conspiracy. Within Pakistan, voices against him are growing. People are castigating Munir since his inflammatory statements about Kashmir are believed to have led to the Pahalgam terrorist attack.

Following the Pahalgam terror strike, India nearly severed diplomatic ties with Pakistan. Additionally, the six-decade-old Indus Water Treaty has been suspended. Airspace is closed to Pakistani aircraft, postal services, trade, and public traffic between the two countries have halted. As a consequence, Pakistan faces a severe crisis, haunted by the constant fear of Indian aggression.

Notably, on April 22, a terror attack targeting tourists occurred in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam, resulting in 26 fatalities. The attack has been attributed to the Pakistan-sponsored terror group TRF. Since then, a wave of outrage has surged across India, demanding a decisive response to the hostile neighbor.
