A massive explosion rocked Chhattisgarh's largest gunpowder factory on Saturday morning, quickly engulfing the building in flames. The fire broke out in Borsi village, located 70 kilometers from Bemetara district.
It is reported that 6 people have been injured in this catastrophe. An official of the district administration informed PTI that the blast occurred in a unit near Pirada village in Berla development block. So far, news of six casualties has been confirmed, all of whom have been rushed to the hospital for treatment.

The fire is so fierce that its flames can be seen from a great distance. Moreover, the sound of the factory's explosion was heard over several kilometers.
There is speculation that the incident may have caused several fatalities since employees were present in the factory at the time of the incident. Furthermore, the blast’s debris was scattered over a wide area, causing panic among the nearby residents.
