Former England fast bowler Stuart Broad has amusingly revealed that the England team, especially Ben Duckett, refers to India's fast bowler Mohammed Siraj as 'Mr. Angry'. This nickname is tied to Siraj's fierce on-field demeanor, particularly when he fiercely dismissed Duckett during the Lord's Test. Due to this incident, Siraj was penalized 15% of his match fee for breaching the ICC Code of Conduct.
Broad on JioHotstar said, 'Ben Duckett humorously greets Siraj with ‘Hello Mr. Angry, Good Morning Mr. Angry, how are you?’ and then observes Siraj's reaction. It's all in good fun, yet Siraj's spirit remains indefatigable.'

In the first innings at the Oval Test, Siraj showcased remarkable bowling for India. He clinched four pivotal wickets, dismissing Ollie Pope, Joe Root, Harry Brook, and Jacob Bethell, significantly denting England's innings after their opening duo had reached 92 runs.
Stuart Broad commented, 'I've thoroughly enjoyed watching Siraj in this series. He's omnipresent, whether in controversies or triumphs. On television screens, he’s always applauded, and smiling.'
As the third day concluded, tempers flared when Sai Sudharsan stormed towards Duckett in frustration post-dismissal. This visible outburst on the field was perhaps the first from the Indian batsman. Ollie Pope and Harry Brook stepped in to diffuse the situation.
Broad admitted, I was taken aback when Sudharsan spun towards Duckett and reacted angrily. It seemed out of character for him. Yet, I understand. Playing for your nation brings out immense pride and passion in that jersey. He further explained, I’ve always believed that emotions on the field are healthy. It brings vitality to the game. I myself favored such spirited play.
