Famed YouTuber Elvish Yadav, serving a 14-day jail sentence for trafficking snake venom, was presented at the Gautam Buddha Nagar District Court. Alongside him, two other friends, also arrested today, Wednesday, by the Noida police, appeared in court. Reports indicate that Elvish was presented for amendments on charges imposed on the Big Boss winner.
Noida police arrested two of Elvish Yadav's friends, identified as Ishwar and Vinay. During interrogation, Vinay acknowledged his friendship with Elvish. Meanwhile, Ishwar is known to be an acquaintance of Rahul, a snake charmer previously arrested. The Noida police have thus far arrested eight individuals in the snake venom trafficking case.
The case against Elvish Yadav was registered in Noida Sector 49. The investigation, conducted by the police of Noida Sector 20, involves intellectual property sections 284, 289, 120B and the Wildlife Protection Act-1972, sections 9, 39, 48, 49, 50, 51. The accused have been submitted for assessment, and following the report, NDPS Act sections were added.
