After a disappointing defeat in the Bihar assembly elections, Congress organized a meeting on Saturday attended by top leaders including Rahul Gandhi. Post-meeting, KC Venugopal and Ajay Maken addressed the media, alleging vote theft.
Election Commission Held Accountable
KC Venugopal blamed the Election Commission, alleging theft of votes. Congress will thoroughly scrutinize the voting data and later elucidate the media on the causes of its defeat in Bihar. Notably, Congress contested the Bihar assembly elections in alliance with the Grand Alliance. Where NDA secured close to 200 seats, the Grand Alliance failed to grab even 40 seats.

In a post written in Hindi on X, Gandhi extended heartfelt gratitude to millions of Bihar voters who entrusted the Grand Alliance. He stated, "The results in Bihar are remarkably surprising. We couldn't win an election that wasn’t fair from the beginning."
