After the seat distribution in Bihar's NDA, Shayan Kunal, the son of ex-IPS Kishore Kunal, met LJP (R) president Chirag Paswan. It has been confirmed that Chirag's party will be contesting on five Lok Sabha seats in Bihar in this election cycle.

The political corridors in Patna are abuzz with speculation after Shayan Kunal's meeting with Chirag Paswan that his wife Shambhavi could enter the political fray. Sources suggest that Chirag Paswan could nominate her as the party's candidate for the Jamui seat. Notably, thus far Chirag Paswan himself has been an MP from Jamui, but he might contest from Hajipur this time.

Shambhavi, the daughter-in-law of Acharya Kishore Kunal, is also the daughter of minister Ashok Chaudhary, a close associate of Nitish Kumar, while Shayan Kunal is their son-in-law. Acharya Kishore Kunal is known to be one of the most discussed IPS officers of Bihar.

The Noteworthy Achievements of Acharya Kishore Kunal

During the tenure of VP Singh's government, Acharya Kishore Kunal was appointed as the special officer to mediate between the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and the Babri Masjid Action Committee.

After retiring from the IPS, Acharya Kishore Kunal devoted himself to social works and is currently the chairman of the Bihar State Religious Trust Board and also the secretary of the renowned Mahavir Temple Trust in Patna.

The Mahavir Temple Trust manages numerous schools and a cancer hospital in Patna. Acharya Kishore Kunal is also the founder of the prominent school Gyana Niketan in Patna.
