In a significant move in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) executed a major operation. They seized land worth millions from Babu Singh Kushwaha, a Samajwadi Party MP from Jaunpur. The ED team arrived with a bulldozer to demolish illegal constructions on this land. It is worth mentioning that Babu Singh Kushwaha, a former minister, was accused in the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) scam. During that time, he was the Minister of Family Welfare in Uttar Pradesh, and he even spent four years in jail due to this case.
According to reports, the ED took this action on Babu Singh Kushwaha's land in the valuable Sarojini Nagar Police Station area near Scooter India in Lucknow.

CBI Also Took Action in ₹10,000 Crore Scam
CBI had arrested Babu Singh Kushwaha, who was a minister in Mayawati’s government, in connection with the National Rural Health Mission scam amounting to more than ₹10,000 crores. The funds under NRHM were allocated by the central government. CBI sources mentioned that Kushwaha was presented before a special CBI court in Ghaziabad and sent to CBI remand.
