Following tremors in India's capital, Delhi, similar intensity (4.0) earthquakes were felt in Siwan, Bihar. The tremor sent Siwan residents into a panic, with people rushing to open areas. The National Center for Seismology reported the earthquake's magnitude as 4.0 on the Richter scale.

Residents of Siwan who felt the earthquake described the ground shaking violently. Families alerted one another, grabbing children to flee to safety. Many stayed outdoors for prolonged periods, fearing aftershocks.
Earlier the same day, tremors were detected in Delhi-NCR. The ground swayed for several seconds, prompting residents to evacuate in fear. Delhi's earthquake also measured 4.0 in magnitude, centered just 5 kilometers underground near Delhi.

Following the Delhi earthquake, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged caution in a post on X, saying, 'Tremors were felt in Delhi and neighboring areas. We appeal to everyone to remain calm and follow safety precautions. Authorities are monitoring the situation closely.'
