Today, November 14th, marked the coldest morning in Delhi. According to the weather department, the lowest minimum temperature of this season was recorded. In the Delhi Ridge area, the temperature dipped to 11.2 degrees Celsius, marking it as the lowest of the season so far. Sudden Winter Surge in Delhi
As per the IMD, this temperature drop is due to the western disturbance bringing snowfall to the Himalayan region. The western disturbance's impact is evident in parts of North India, including Delhi, causing a dip in temperature and enhancing the cold effect. This drop has compelled Delhi residents to whip out their blankets and warm clothing.
The weather department forecasts a further increase in cold in the coming days. Experts predict that temperatures could decline further, leading to a harsher winter for residents. With the changing weather, winter in Delhi is progressively heading toward its peak, necessitating preparations against the chill for the city's denizens.
