A heartbreaking event has surfaced in Delhi. Following heavy rain, a pond filled up with water, and two children drowned, leading to their untimely death. As soon as locals became aware of the situation, immediate efforts were made to rescue the children. Families are in deep sorrow following this tragic event.
According to the agency, the incident took place in the Prem Nagar area in Outer Delhi. Police reported that heavy rain on Friday evening caused a pond in the Prem Nagar area to overflow. After the rain, four children from the nearby colonies of Rani Kheda headed to the pond.

During this time, the children began playing in the rain, when two of the four ventured into the depth of the pond. Despite their efforts to get out, they couldn't escape and drowned. The ages of the children who drowned were 9 and 15 years old. The families of the children are in immense grief after the incident.
Police Take Bodies for Post-Mortem
Upon hearing about the incident, the families rushed to the spot, and the police were notified of the situation. The police quickly arrived at the scene and assessed the situation. The bodies of the two children were retrieved from the pond and sent for post-mortem at Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital. The incident is currently under investigation.
