The situation in Delhi-NCR is reaching alarming levels, turning the area into a gas chamber. In the bid to tackle this severe air pollution, strict GRAP-4 measures are now effective in the National Capital Region. Here's what you need to know about these stringent restrictions:

Entry of trucks into Delhi is restricted except for those carrying essential goods or providing essential services. All LNG/CNG/electric and BS-VI diesel trucks are allowed entry.
2.
Light commercial vehicles registered outside Delhi, excluding those used for essentials or services, are not allowed entry unless they run on EV, CNG, or BS-VI diesel.
3.
Medium and heavy goods vehicles (MGV and HGV) with BS-IV or lower diesel engines registered in Delhi face strict movement restrictions, with exceptions for vehicles providing essential goods or services.

Similar to GRAP-3, restrictions on construction and development activities are in place for public projects such as highways, roads, flyovers, bridges, power transmission, pipelines, and telecommunications.

State governments in NCR along with GNCTD may decide to close physical classes up to Class-VI, IX, and XI, shifting to online classes.

NCR state governments and GNCTD can determine if public, municipal, and private offices should operate at 50% capacity with the rest working from home.
