The connections of the explosions near the Israeli Embassy in Delhi are tracing back to the Jamia Nagar area. Recently, suspicious figures were caught on CCTV in the vicinity of the blast. These recordings mapped the suspects heading towards India Gate in an auto-rickshaw. During the investigation, the police questioned several auto drivers. It is during this questioning that the 'Jamia connection' emerged. It was discovered that the suspects disembarked in the Jamia area, prompting a thorough search.

The search for the culprits has intensified. Police have interrogated 12 people so far. According to sources, CCTV footage in the area is under scrutiny. They learned that a dozen individuals passed by the site in the hours preceding the explosion. Among those present were laborers, a porter, and a couple, who were all cleared after questioning.

Meanwhile, the police approached an auto-driver who reported that while waiting outside Jamia Nagar Metro Station, a man approached him, negotiating a fare of 150 INR. According to the driver, the man struggled with Hindi, and requested to be dropped off at Prithviraj Road.

Investigations revealed that upon disembarking, the man boarded another auto within minutes and headed towards Kartavya Path. The police are now scouring the Jamia Nagar area, questioning locals in the hunt for leads. The National Security Guard (NSG) has also visited the crime scene to understand the situation comprehensively.

Commonalities are evident between both blasts. For instance, those behind the recent and 2021 explosions seemed to know where CCTV cameras were placed. In both cases, a typed letter was left at the scene. The suspects escaped in an auto, ultimately ending their run in Jamia. Police are meticulously searching Chanakyapuri's affluent area, where the explosion occurred at 5:30 PM on Tuesday.

Nearby the blast site, a letter and a flag were discovered. The typed letter expressed anger towards Israel. The letter found in the plot was in English, with 'Sir Allah resistance' inscribed. Delhi Police's Special Cell has sent samples for FSL analysis, while the NIA is investigating all angles.

Subsequently, a witness came forward and provided information about the blast. The letter has been sent for forensic examination. It's worth noting that the explosion near the Israeli Embassy occurred at 5:45 PM on a Tuesday, causing no damage. The Israeli Foreign Ministry issued a statement affirming collaboration with Delhi Police and all investigative agencies.
