The preparations for the swearing-in ceremony of Delhi's new Chief Minister are in full swing. The venue, Ramlila Maidan, has been decided, but consensus on the CM's name has yet to be reached. It is expected that tomorrow (February 19), during the legislative party meeting, the announcement will be made.
Preparations for the swearing-in ceremony continue at Ramlila Maidan ahead of the CM announcement. Scheduled for February 20 at 4:30 PM, the ceremony will feature three stages. One large stage measuring 40×24 and two others sized 34×40. Approximately 100 to 150 chairs will be set on the stages, while about 30,000 chairs will be arranged for the public.
Prestigious Attendees at the Swearing-In
It is anticipated that all roads leading to Ramlila Maidan will be closed from the night of February 19, granting access only to VVIP vehicles. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and over 50 high-security leaders will be in attendance. The chief ministers of 20 states, central ministers, and NDA leaders are invited.
Invitation Extended to Ambani and Adani
The stage at Ramlila Maidan will feature a vibrant pre-ceremony cultural program. Performances by Kailash Kher are expected, with Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar, Vivek Oberoi, Hema Malini, and over 50 celebrities joining the celebration. Prominent business magnates like Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani, alongside other industry leaders, are also expected. Yoga icons like Baba Ramdev and spiritual leaders like Swami Chidanand and Baba Bageshwar Dhirendra Shastri are among the invitees.

Leaders and workers from BJP, positioned during the Delhi assembly elections, are invited, alongside 'Ladli Sisters' and farmers. Approximately 30,000 guests will receive invitations, including NDA coalition leaders.
Three BJP Leaders to Inspect
A meeting was held the day before at the BJP headquarters by Vinod Tawde with office bearers. Today, Virendra Sachdeva, Vinod Tawde, and Tarun Chugh will visit Ramlila Maidan at 10:30 AM to review the preparation for the swearing-in ceremony.
