Following Kejriwal's arrest, Delhi BJP Vice President Kapil Mishra took to social media and remarked, 'Six years ago, I predicted that the corruption trail would lead Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, and Satyendar Jain to the doors of Tihar Jail. And now, the truth is unfolding.'

The President of Delhi BJP, Virender Sachdeva, asserted, 'The reign of loot and lies directed by Arvind Kejriwal has finally come to an end. Since 2020-21, connections were being drawn between him and the Delhi liquor scandal. The investigative agencies are still inquiring, but I believe it was inevitable for the truth to prevail.'

Following the arrest, Delhi Minister Aatishi stated that Kejriwal will remain the Chief Minister. This pronouncement raises questions whether Kejriwal will run the government from behind bars. Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party is urgently appealing for a hearing in the Supreme Court tonight, demanding the nullification of Kejriwal's detention.
