In the Shahdara region of Delhi, the Navratri festival witnessed a Ramleela stage play. During this performance, the actor portraying Lord Ram experienced a sudden chest pain, prompting an immediate hospital visit, where he was declared deceased by doctors. The actor was identified as Sushil Kaushik, a resident of the Vishwakarma Nagar area, who was a property dealer by trade.

A video of this unfortunate incident has surfaced, capturing Sushil Kaushik immersed in his role as Lord Ram, flawlessly delivering dialogues. In the footage, Lord Ram appears to be beseeching someone in prayer when suddenly he clutches his heart and steps backward off the stage, overwhelmed by the pain.

According to the police, Sushil Kaushik experienced the heart attack while performing, after which he was promptly taken to the hospital. Here, doctors confirmed his passing. The 45-year-old was a property dealer by day, yet he devotedly played the role of Lord Ram in Ramleela.

Delhi Police informed that Sushil Kaushik, son of the late S.K. Kaushik, was from the Shiva Khand locality in Vishwakarma Nagar, Shahdara. His sudden death from a heart attack occurred while he was enacting the role of Lord Ram. This Ramleela was organized by the Jai Shri Ramleela committee of Vishwakarma Nagar.
