Rohtak's Member of Parliament and Congress leader Deepender Hooda targeted CM Nayab Singh Saini. He said, 'Mr. Nayab, don't worry. Under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, we will form Congress government in Haryana and definitely send you those renowned Gohana sweets by the evening of the 8th.' Deepender Singh Hooda expressed this in response to a post by Haryana BJP on social media platform X.
On October 5, Haryana BJP posted on X, featuring CM Saini claiming that no one gives much importance to Rahul Gandhi. He appeared bewildered when handed a box of sweets, remarking that such large sweets are made here. He stated that Rahul Gandhi's presence has no significant impact on Haryana elections.
According to a post by Congress on X, the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi mentioned during a rally in Haryana that he tasted sweets in the car and messaged his sister Priyanka that he enjoyed the best sweets of his life. He told her that he would bring a box for her too. Subsequently, he told Deepender and Bajrang Punia that these sweets should be known not only in India but globally. If these sweets are marketed well, the shop could transform into a factory creating employment for thousands.
In reaction to Rahul Gandhi's statement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a satirical remark in Jharkhand. PM Modi labeled Congress's sweets as 'sweets of deceit'. He pointed out that by making grand promises, they aim to mislead you.
