In recent days, talks of dissatisfaction between Congress Member of Parliament Shashi Tharoor and the Congress high command have been making headlines. Now, Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge has spoken on the matter. Responding to the questions about Tharoor, Kharge stated, "My English isn't as polished, hence Shashi Tharoor was made a CWC member. We prioritize the nation whereas some prioritize themselves over the country."
He further elaborated, "In Gulbarga, I mentioned how we voiced our unity for the nation together. During Operation Sindoor, we stood as one, stating the country comes first. Some believe it's Modi first and the country later, so what should our course of action be?"
'Election Commission is Modi’s puppet...'
Kharge also expressed views concerning the Election Commission. He said, "Narendra Modi claims he's winning elections. When Rahul Gandhi questioned the process, ED had no answers. At present, the election commission seems like Modi's puppet."
He added, "Modi is campaigning in Bihar. Look, it's not you winning the elections, the machinery is. On the occasion of completing 50 years of Emergency, the Prime Minister issued a new circular. It suggests that during Emergency, the Constitution was decimated, and we have reinstated faith in it. Every state should commemorate 'Constitution Killing Day'."
"Those who contributed nothing to the nation’s freedom speak against the Constitution. BJP is unnerved by the 'Save the Constitution March'. Those who fail to govern, have no answers for inflation, unemployment, or demonetization. You skip all-party meetings, hold convocations at Pahalgam, and then head for a rally."

Addressing Narendra Modi, Kharge said, "No prime minister had the privileges you do, yet you haven't visited Manipur. They claim to be world leaders, Trump resolved conflicts, and still, he intimidates you, while you campaign for him."
