The Indian National Congress has fielded Kanhaiya Kumar as their candidate for the North-East Delhi constituency. Kumar aims to challenge the Bharatiya Janata Party's Manoj Tiwari in the political arena. Party leader Rahul Gandhi has endorsed Kumar's candidacy. Post nomination, Kanhaiya Kumar has emphasized that while faces are irrelevant, the ideas and issues he represents are paramount. The constituents will decide Tiwari's performance.

'BJP fails to perform...'

Kanhaiya continues to assert that the BJP in Delhi is stalling work, specifically targeting the India block parties without justification. He extends his thanks to the people of Delhi, the Pradesh Congress Committee, party workers, and leadership. This nomination sends a clear message that the Congress is contesting the Lok Sabha elections with strong conviction, and Kanhaiya promises to persist in his campaign for justice.

With Kanhaiya Kumar receiving a Congress ticket, BJP candidate Manoj Tiwari welcomes all democratic participants while criticizing Congress's lack of respect towards the nation, army, and culture. Tiwari claims that instead, Congress has chosen a leader who has been part of a divisive group, using disrespectful language towards the army.
