Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has been threatened at the Mumbai Police Control Room. A message was received on Mumbai Police's Traffic Control cell from an unknown number stating that if Yogi does not resign in 10 days, he will be killed like Baba Siddiqui.
According to the information, this threat was received by the Mumbai Police Control Room on Saturday evening. Following the threat to the UP Chief Minister, security has been put on alert. Meanwhile, the Mumbai police are investigating this call and searching for the message sender. UP police have also been informed about the details, and they are conducting their own investigation.
CM Yogi has received threats multiple times
This year, CM Yogi has faced several death threats. The UP Police have arrested the threateners from various locations. The threats came via calls to Dial 112 and through social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter. Each suspect was apprehended by the UP Police within a short period.
On April 23 this year, an individual threatened CM Yogi through a message to Dial 112 asserting, "Will kill CM Yogi soon." Security agencies were promptly activated, and the culprit was apprehended swiftly. Similarly, one person issued a threat on Twitter and was arrested in Mumbai. Another threatened on Facebook, resulting in an arrest from Phulwari Sharif, Bihar.
