During his visit to Prayagraj, CM Yogi Adityanath made a significant announcement. He stated that sanitation workers involved in the Mahakumbh in UP will receive an extra bonus of 10,000. In addition, health personnel will be granted health insurance worth 5 lakh. Come April, these funds will be transferred directly to the workers' accounts.

CM Yogi further declared that the salaries for sanitation workers, which were between 8,000 to 11,000 a month, will be increased to a minimum of 16,000 starting April. Additionally, all employees will be integrated with the Ayushman Bharat scheme to ensure they benefit from general health insurance coverage.

During the Mahakumbh, the Uttar Pradesh government set a new Guinness World Record for the largest coordinated cleaning campaign. CM Yogi Adityanath, alongside Deputy CMs Keshav Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, proudly received this award from the Guinness World Records Committee.

At the Mahakumbh's conclusion, CM Yogi expressed, "Nowhere in the world has seen such a massive gathering. A staggering 663 million devotees participated. There were no instances of kidnapping, theft, or any such incidents. The opposition looked unsuccessfully for issues, even with lenses. However, they couldn't miss an opportunity to spread misinformation since such a grand event didn't please them."

The CM noted, "On Mauni Amavasya, 80 million devotees gathered. Yet, the opposition continued spreading false data and used disrespectful language. They aimed to defame Prayagraj by showing unrelated videos. A tragic accident occurred that night; we sympathize with the victims' families. However, the opposition spread wrongful information using Kathmandu's footage, presenting it as Prayagraj's. Nonetheless, the devotees responded in numbers, signaling their refusal to be misled by the opposition, ensuring the banner of our tradition remains aloft."

CM Yogi Adityanath thanked the people of Prayagraj for treating this event (Mahakumbh) as their very own, for two consecutive months. Given the city's 2-2.5 million population, the influx of 50-80 million visitors was indeed noteworthy.

Earlier, upon arriving in the Mahakumbh Mela region of Prayagraj, CM Yogi participated in the cleaning drive at Arail Ghat. Following this, he performed rituals at Sangam Nose, addressed a public gathering, and subsequently dined with sanitation workers. Many ministers from the Yogi cabinet also participated during this initiative.

Remarkably, the 45-day Mahakumbh concluded yesterday (February 26). Despite the event's official closing, a significant crowd of devotees still visited the fair today, engaging in Sangam bathing and visiting stalls set up at the fair.
