Bihar's Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was recently caught in a candid moment.
Attending an event alongside Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar, Nitish Kumar exhibited an earnest attempt to engage in conversation as the national anthem began. His repeated efforts to communicate with Deepak, who persistently gestured for him to stand straight, were captured on video.
A brief clip also showed the Chief Minister greeting people with a Namaste during the anthem.
RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav seized the moment to critique. He expressed disdain, urging the Honorable Chief Minister to at least preserve the sanctity of the national anthem, while accusing him of routinely insulting the youth, students, women, and elderly.
Tejashwi remarked on Nitish Kumar’s unsteady mental and physical condition, suggesting it was alarming for Bihar.
Adding to the discourse, RJD Supremo Lalu Prasad tweeted the video with a firm statement about the dishonor to the national anthem, rallying Biharis to action.
