In 2016, salaries and allowances for judges of the Supreme Court and High Courts underwent revisions based on recommendations from the Central Pay Commission. CJI Salary and Pension Details
The Chief Justice of India (CJI) earns a monthly salary of Rs. 2,80,000. They receive a House Rent Allowance equivalent to 24% of their basic salary, plus a Sumptuary Allowance of Rs. 45,000 monthly. Furthermore, a furnishing allowance of Rs. 10 lakhs is provided.
Additionally, the CJI receives an annual pension comprising Rs. 16,80,000 plus a dearness relief allowance, alongside a gratuity of Rs. 20 lakhs.

Salaries and Allowances of Supreme Court Judges
Judges of the Supreme Court receive a monthly salary of Rs. 2,50,000. Their House Rent Allowance also stands at 24% of their basic salary. Additionally, they're entitled to a furnishing allowance of Rs. 8 lakhs and a Sumptuary Allowance of Rs. 34,000 monthly.
The annual earnings for Supreme Court judges amount to Rs. 15 lakhs. Furthermore, a gratuity of Rs. 20 lakhs is also sanctioned for them.
