Chhattisgarh: 2 Boys Dies While Busy on Phone, Hit by Train

In Chhattisgarh, two boys died after being hit by a local train. The police said that the boys were so engrossed in their phones while sitting on the railway track that they could not hear the train’s horn and were struck by the train.

In the Durg district of Chhattisgarh, two boys were playing games on their mobile phones while sitting on a railway track when they were hit and killed by a train. This information was provided by the police on Sunday.

A police officer stated that the two 14-year-old boys were sitting on the railway track in the Risali area of the Padmanabhpur police station around 7 PM and playing games on their phones. They were struck by a train and unfortunately died on the spot.

The police identified the deceased minors as Puran Sahu and Veer Singh, both residents of the Risali sector in Bhilai city.

The officer further noted that the two boys were so absorbed in their mobile phones that they did not hear the horn of the Dalli Rajhara-Durg local train, leading to their tragic demise.

Upon receiving information about the incident, a police team arrived at the scene and sent the bodies for post-mortem. An investigation has been launched after registering a case.
