Commenting on these rumors, former BJP chief of the state, Deepak Prakash, mentioned he has no concrete information on the matter. He said that while he has heard some reports, he lacks solid details. Prakash added that Champai Soren was doing commendable work as the Chief Minister of Jharkhand, and noted that everything is dependent on central leadership.

He mentioned that Jharkhand's 35 million citizens were pleased with his work, but the manner in which he was removed from the CM post was unfortunate. This was a major setback.
