On the brink of today's critical Supreme Court hearing regarding the NEET examination leak, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has landed a considerable breakthrough. The agency has managed to trace the solver's network involved in the case and has taken four doctors from AIIMS Patna into custody.

The CBI escorted the four doctors for interrogation, three of whom—Chandan Singh, Kumar Shanu, and Rahul Anand—are medical students from the 2021 batch, while the fourth, Karan Jain, is a second-year student. Their rooms have now been sealed, and their laptops and mobile phones have been confiscated.

AIIMS Patna's director, G.K. Paul, expressed his shock in a conversation with Aaj Tak, stating, 'It's surprising to us that our students are allegedly involved. We'll await the CBI's report, and if our students are found implicated, actions will be taken. All the accused are exceptionally intelligent.'

The CBI has successfully linked the entire network from NEET paper leakage to its distribution among complicit candidates. They have even arrested the person responsible for snatching the paper from the delivery truck, Pankaj, who has connections with the principal of Oasis School in Hazaribagh, where the paper eventually reached Sanjeev Mukhiya.

The gravity of the situation further comes to light as two people were arrested on Tuesday. Pankaj Kumar from Patna and Raju Singh from Hazaribagh, Jharkhand, were apprehended by the CBI. Kumar is accused of stealing the paper from the truck and distributing it further, while Singh aided in its dissemination.

The hunt continues for the mastermind, Sanjeev Mukhiya, who remains at large. As the alleged orchestrator of many such paper leaks, Mukhiya has ties with paper leak mafias across different states, reinforcing the gravity of the paper leak crises in competitive examinations.
