The political climate is heating up with by-elections scheduled for November 13 across nine assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh. Amidst this, BSP Chief Mayawati declared that since the announcement of these by-elections, which BSP fully participates in, both BJP and Samajwadi Party alliances have lost their calm.
Mayawati pointed out that BJP and SP used to engage in friendly contests during by-elections as BSP seldom participated in many by-polls. To mislead people, BJP proclaims 'Divide and Rule', while SP echoes 'Join to Win'. Introducing a fresh slogan, Mayawati said it should be 'Connect with BSP to Thrive and Be Safe'.
BSP Supremo Mayawati further emphasized that during the reign of the Samajwadi Party, the administration was driven not by officials but by the hooligans and mafias of SP. Trusted reports indicate that SP is internally assuring their miscreants that their safety depends on SP winning these by-elections and eventually forming a government.
The by-elections are set in regions including Katrahi (Ambedkar Nagar), Karhal (Mainpuri), Mirapur (Muzaffarnagar), Ghaziabad, Majhawan (Mirzapur), Sisamau (Kanpur City), Khair (Aligarh), Phulpur (Prayagraj), and Kundarki (Moradabad) on November 13. Vote counting will take place on November 23.
