On July 22nd, which is a Monday, the Braj Mandal Yatra will be conducted in Nuh, Haryana. Bittu Bajrangi is not allowed to join this pilgrimage. The Faridabad police placed a notice outside his house, citing his participation in inciting communal riots last year as the reason for his exclusion. Bittu Bajrangi has a total of 9 cases against him related to the Nuh riots. The police have instructed Bittu Bajrangi to remain at home during the journey and avoid any kind of involvement in inciting unrest.
Prior to this journey, the police administration has shut down mobile internet and bulk SMS services in the Nuh district for 24 hours. Additionally, to prevent the spread of misinformation and rumors via social media platforms such as WhatsApp, Facebook, and Twitter, which could escalate into serious damage, arson, vandalism, or other violent activities, public and private properties are under restricted internet service.
It is important to note that Hindu organizations had, as usual, announced the Braj Mandal Yatra on July 31st last year in Nuh, Haryana. The violence spread from Nuh to Sohna, with arson and stone-pelting incidents. Vehicles were set on fire. The unrest then extended from Nuh to Faridabad and Gurugram.
According to the FIR registered in the violence, Bittu and his supporters misbehaved with ASP Usha Kundu's team and threatened them while carrying swords and tridents on their way to Nalhad temple. Bittu Bajrangi was identified through a social media post. Various charges were filed against him at the Nuh Sadar police station.
