BPSC TRE 3.O Paper Leak:
Police have made a significant breakthrough in the BPSC TRE 3.O paper leak case, apprehending five individuals linked to a solver gang. All suspects are reported to be from Bihar. Investigations revealed the gang's plot to enable over 250 candidates to pass the exams. These examinees were stalled at the Kohinoor Hotel, under the jurisdiction of the Pelawal police station.
Deal Struck for 10-15 Lakh Rupees to Ensure Passing
The third phase of the Bihar teachers' recruitment exam was marred by a paper leak, leading to 250 students and five Solver Gang members being apprehended thus far. It's reported that a substantial amount was negotiated to leak the papers to the candidates, help them memorize the answers, and thereby ensure their passing. The leaked questionnaire was already in the students' hands, being reviewed for the last two days. As police arrived at the hotel, candidates were found reciting answers shown by a projector.
Solver Gang Caught with Assistance from Jharkhand Police
A task force of Bihar's Economic Offences Unit, with support from the local Jharkhand police, exposed the gang in Hazaribagh. Late at night, the task force, with the apprehended members and over 250 candidates were transported to Bihar. A vehicle was also seized which had a board of the Bihar Government's Deputy Secretary of Health.
Jharkhand Police Shares Information
Hazaribagh Superintendent of Police, Arvind Kumar Singh, has indicated that questioning of the students is underway to ascertain the connection of the seized question papers with the actual exam. Authorities have intercepted two vehicles carrying students; some were halted near the Nagwan Toll Plaza for confidential interrogation.
It should be noted that the third phase of Bihar's teacher recruitment exam (BPSC TRE 3.O) was conducted on Friday, March 15, 2024, across 26 districts in 415 centers, where 80% attendance of candidates was recorded.
