Following the tragic bus accident in Nepal that claimed the lives of 27 Indian nationals, an Indian Air Force plane has returned to India with 25 of the bodies. The military transport aircraft arrived in Jalgaon, Maharashtra, from Bharatpur, Nepal, on Saturday with the remains of 25 Indian pilgrims.
Approximately 115 kilometers from Kathmandu, a tragic bus accident in the Tanahun district of Nepal on Friday resulted in the deaths of these Indian pilgrims. Officials stated that two of the deceased were brought to Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh.

According to a news agency, the IAF posted, 'Responding swiftly to a call for humanitarian assistance, the Air Force deployed a C-130J aircraft to airlift the bodies of 25 Indian nationals who lost their lives in a road accident in Nepal.'
The statement further added, 'The bodies were transported from Bharatpur (Nepal) to Jalgaon (Maharashtra). The Air Force expresses its deepest condolences to the bereaved families and wishes the injured a speedy recovery.'
It is noteworthy that all the deceased Indian pilgrims were on a 10-day tour in Nepal. Sixteen other people were injured in this road accident. According to local authorities, the bus carrying the pilgrims lost control on a highway and fell into the Marsyangdi River in the Tanahun district, resulting in the deaths of the 27 Indian nationals.
